Product Updates – September 2026
Time allowed shown on student homepage
Extra Time Enhancements
When a candidate has an extra time allowance (e.g. a percentage-based adjustment for accessibility reasons), administrators can now choose whether that additional time rounds up or down to the nearest minute.
Extra time allowances on a candidate enrolment are also now be included in the progress report to easily verify that additional time requirements have been correctly applied before an exam session. You can also use the new ‘Extra time only’ checkbox filter to choose to only view candidates with an extra time percentage included.
To change the extra time rounding configuration for your portal, please contact Eintech support (support@eintech.com) for further details.
Searchable course and exercise dropdowns
In various places in Rogo, e.g. the marking screen, you can use course and exercise selection dropdowns to filter the information on screen. We are updating these so that you can now search in these dropdowns, rather than needing to scroll through a full list.
This will make it easier to find and select the correct course or exercise and save time as your list of courses and exercises grows with new exam sessions.
Separate first and last name columns in the progress report
In the progress report you will now have the option to view the candidate first names and last names in separate columns, bringing it in line with the format used by other Rogo exports.
To view the split columns, you can use the column chooser button to choose the first name and last name columns and turn off the student column which shows the full name.
Update to marking skipped behaviour
Currently if an attempt is completed after the finish date for a session, the script will enter the marking skipped queue. You now have the option to stop scripts from automatically entering the marking skipped queue if you wish to mark all scripts. This ensures no candidate script is inadvertently missed from marking and reduces the risk of delays or disputes caused by scripts falling through the marking process.
This functionality is not automatically available and will need to be switched on for individual portals of Rogo, if this is functionality you are interested in using, please contact Eintech support (support@eintech.com) for further details.
