Multi-factor Authentication

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), is an enhanced security method that requires logging in using another method other than your original password. In our 2-Factor approach, admin users with specific roles will be required to log in using a secure code sent to their mobile phone number. Admin users who require a higher-level of security, perhaps those managing content and release of exams, can be required to use this way of logging in.

MFA is a bolt-on available on request.

Setting up MFA

The MFA requirement is set per individual User Role, allowing you to have some roles that do not require MFA.  It can be added to existing or new roles in Rogo Admin by ticking “Multi-factor authentication required”.

To edit roles, navigate to Admin, then to System Setup and to Edit Roles.
