The new ‘Coursework’ Exercise type allows students to complete coursework offline, before uploading it to Rogo in a variety of formats (Word, Plain Text, Excel and other formats supported by the similar ‘file upload’ question type).
- You will first, navigate to the admin area where you will click create a new course.
The new course must be an 'online course', not a 'test engine/assessment'. - Navigate to your created course from your homepage and click 'view'. After clicking view you will see the chapters screen. You will click 'new chapter' to create your first chapter. After adding a name and description for your chapter and clicking save you will be brought to the chapters view.
- Once viewing your first chapter, click "New Coursework".
- Fill in the code and name field for your coursework exercise type. Once complete
you can click save at the bottom of the page.
- Click "Paper Settings" to add your grade boundaries and click save once complete.
- After adding your grade boundaries you can go back a step to view your paper.

Once viewing the paper you can add a number of questions to indicate criteria
you will be awarding marks for and what each criterion will be worth. Click "Add
Question". -
Once you are done filling out your question/s and marks you may hit save and test
your question. - You may click "Test Attempt" , this will create a test attempt if you wish to preview your creation in the student view.

If happy with the content of the coursework exercise you can click "Release" and
then 'Confirm' once prompted to release the paper.
