# Assessor led exercise type

 

**In an assessor-led assessment, a qualified professional takes on the responsibility of reviewing the evidence presented by students and completing the assessment. This method is particularly effective for evaluating practical exercises or conducting verbal assessments. **

 

When creating your exercise you will need to select the assessor-led exercise type from the drop-down.

Once your exercise has been created you will then [create a session](https://help-guide.eintech.com/sessions-faq?hsLang=en) and book a student or students into the session, any session type can be used.

At/after the start time, the assessor would start the exercise from the session page.

After clicking start, the exercise start window will open in a new tab. Once questions have been answered the assessor may press finish to submit the attempt.
